We’re writing to let you know about an upcoming change to the foreign exchange (FX) fees applied to your AIFC Card. These updates support a sustainable and secure card program while helping us continue to provide reliable services.
What’s changing
Current fee structure: A 2% FX fee applies only to transactions in currencies other than USD
Updated fee structure: A 2% FX fee will also apply to cross-border transactions (purchases made outside Kazakhstan), even if charged in USD. This update helps cover cross-border processing costs.
Effective: Feb 26, 2026, 12AM UTC
What you can do
If these changes aren’t right for you, you can close your card account before the effective date. If you continue using your card on or after the effective date, the updated fee structure will apply. We’ll publish the updated Cardholder Terms & Conditions on the Bybit website and app before the effective date. Learn more in Section 9.
