客服明确告诉你把你的信息删除了吗?我这个好像还是要留六年啊
I’d be happy to ask our data deletion team to erase or anonymise data that we don’t have a legal duty or other legitimate interest need to keep until the end of the mandatory retention period. This includes analytical data of how you have interacted with the Monzo App.
We’ll only keep your personal information for as long as it’s necessary. In general this is at least six years after your account is closed. The exact period depends on legal and regulatory requirements or where we need it for our legitimate purposes such as managing your account, responding to complaints, queries, fighting fraud and financial crime and other circumstances.
As a bank, we must comply with laws and regulations that require us to keep customer data for a specific time. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) says we must hold records for as long as is relevant for the purpose for which they were collected. One of the reasons why they require this is so that they can check that we’ve met our legal obligations as a bank. We’re also required to comply with laws that fight money laundering, fraud, tax evasion and unlawful immigration, and demand that we keep customer records for these reasons.
If we face a legal claim, we must be able to produce evidence for as long as it’s possible to bring claims against us.
Once we have verified and confirmed your identity we will process your request, which usually takes up to thirty days. |
