前几天我发表了帖子暴论:Wise可能就是下一个OCBC,当时我分析了Wise在中国大陆地区的Custom Agreement,得出的结论居住在大陆的中国公民只要使用Wise就违反用户协议。
4. Who can use our Services?
4.1 Requirements. You may only use our Services if you satisfy all of the following:
a) you are not a Chinese national;
b) you are employed or self-employed in China;
c) you currently reside or have previously resided in China;
d) you are at least 18 years old; and
e) you are using the Service to transfer post-tax salary to your own overseas bank account only.
帖子一经发表立即引发热议,在大量讨论后,基本形成共识:大陆地区的中国公民使用Wise,在不使用人民币相关功能的前提下,适用的用户协议应为通用版本,这是一是根据Wise现在实际实行的管理政策进行推断得到的,二也是因为不使用人民币的话相关实体是Wise的英国总部Wise Payments Limited,而不涉及Wise在国内提供人民币服务的合作商拉卡拉。
根据通用版本的用户协议,只需要满足一下几个条件即可使用Wise。当然这些无论是新人还是大佬应该都很熟悉了:
5.1 Age requirement. You must be an individual and at least 18 years old to use our Services.
5.2 One Wise Account, one profile. You may only open one Wise Account and one profile.
5.3 Transacting on your own account. All activities under a Wise Account or Wise profile shall be considered activities conducted by you. You agree to only use the Services to transact on your own account and not on behalf of any other person or entity. You must not allow others to access or use the Services or your Wise Account on your behalf.
当时为了验证这个问题,我同时也邮件询问了Wise的客服,得到的结论也是Wise的现行政策允许中国大陆地区的中国公民使用。
我当时的言辞确实有失客观,观点并不全面,感谢各位大佬的指正!
